About This Directory

Connecting Families Gadsden is an online resource guide brought to you by the Gadsden County Healthy Start Coalition (GCHSC). We are a community action team thinking through issues that impact the health and overall well-being of childbearing age women, children, fathers and their families in Gadsden County.

Through efforts such as Connecting Families, we are dedicated to strengthening maternal and child health by ensuring that all Gadsden County families have access to affordable and quality health and related services and advocating for policy efforts to facilitate those services.

Coalition members offer input to improve our way of life in Gadsden County by having an ongoing conversation about common objectives in health, education, business, faith, law enforcement, social services, and other areas as needed because all community members are impacted by the same issues.
